About

Design / Art Direction

JASON NUTTALL

I began my career as a production artist and designer for the Red Group, Showtime Networks in-house advertising agency. I helped to create cutting edge advertising and key art compositions for all of Showtime's original programming including Weeds, The L Word, Dead Like Me, Fat Actress and Showtime Boxing.

From there I took my visual talents to the Brand Integration Group at Ogilvy & Mather where I was the primary digital artist charged with executing flawless production and design for this award winning group.

In 2008 I joined Collins (Fast Company Best Branding Agency of 2015) in a hybrid roll that had me addressing both production and design responsibilities. I was instrumental in the creation of many high profile projects including The Microsoft Store and the CNN Grill.

It was in 2011 that I joined The Martin Agency (2016 One Show Agency of the Year) as Senior Designer with an expertise in branding and experiential design.

2017 brought me to the advertising agency that is shaping and moving at the speed of culture, Translation. As a Senior Art Director and design lead I’ve had an instrumental role in designing campaigns for clients such as AT&T, NFL and Alaska Airlines.

I have always had an enthusiastic interest in music and have played, recorded and toured with many bands over the years. Although my present artistic pursuits lean more toward the visual I still loves to pick up the guitar whenever I can.
